Lily teaches my 7 years old son Chinese. She’s very friendly and easy to talk to. Most importantly, she is really good with young kids. Kids this age has very short attention span but Lily is able to engage with my son and teaches through drawing and games. She also rewards him with a 3 mins Lion King video at the end. Today, I reviewed the previous lesson and expanded my vocabulary with new words. I really appreciate the pace of this course: it is both stimulating and enjoyable to follow. In addition, the explanations are remarkably clear, which makes learning so much easier. Today's lesson focused on the radical of the character 口 (mouth), and I found it particularly interesting to explore the various meanings and uses of this radical in the Chinese language.

Debbie, as always, does a great job as a Mandarin teacher. Her teaching method, pace, and flow are excellent. I once requested a full session of only speaking, and I thought I would bore her with my poor Mandarin, but she encouraged me with helpful phrases and sentences for me to say while correcting my pronunciation and grammar. I loved it! Overall, her teaching method is very flexible but well-structured at the same time.

Joy is a wonderful and kind teacher! My kids have been learning Chinese and Mandarin with Joy for almost a year, and they truly enjoy her classes. She is incredibly patient and encouraging, creating a relaxed and fun learning environment. One of Joy’s strengths is her ability to explain Chinese vocabulary to my kids in both English and Mandarin, adapting to their level of understanding.
